MSA is cognizant of the severity of the Covid-19, but also knows the importance of the tree and landscape care industry and your livelihood. We are working to provide members the most up to date information and opportunities to get involved if you so choose.
(April 6, 2020):
A meeting was held April 6 with members of the Green Industry, including MNLA, MnSTAC, TCIA and ISA, to discuss the essential job status, Minnesota’s “Stay-at-Home” order, etc. Efforts are still being made by green industry advocates to get more clarity and direction with hopes and intention to get folks in the industry back to work safely as soon as possible.
If you would like to contact your legislator requesting tree care to be essential, you may do so via the MNLA legislative action center (MNLA represents the landscape industry in Minnesota, as well as the entire Green Industry throughout the state). Members should use the “Landscapers” alert and tailor the letter to your tree care services.
