ISA Certification

Earn your ISA Credentials

Looking to become an ISA Certified Arborist, a Certified Tree Climber, or earn another ISA Credential? Visit the International Society of Arboriculture website to learn more about the types of credentials, eligibility requirements, how to apply, and more.

If you meet the pre-requisites listed in the application guide of the credential you are pursuing, you will submit the application to sit for the exam. ISA notifies you if your application is accepted via email, typically within a few days.  For any eligibility questions, please call ISA directly at (678) 367-0981.

There are two options available for taking exams: paper-based exams (see upcoming local options below), or computer-based exams administered at a Pearson VUE testing facility.

For more information about exams, visit the ISA Exam Information page.
