Applying for CEUs for an Upcoming Program

Making a CEU Approval Request
- Requests for CEU approval should be made using this CEU Approval Request Form.
- Requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your event to allow for adequate review and processing time. Events involving multiple dates and/or numerous sessions are encouraged to submit their requests at least 30 days in advance. Requests received less than 10 days from the event may not be considered for approval.
CEU Eligibility
- To be eligible for CEUs, talks or events must directly relate to a domain of arboriculture and/or urban forestry identified in the respective ISA credential program guide.
- A detailed outline including topics covered and time spent on each topic must be submitted along with the request form. If topics are listed only as brief titles or one-word descriptions, additional information may be required to determine CEU eligibility.
Recording and Submitting Attendance
- Education Providers must provide a method for recording attendance and attendees ISA Certification IDs.
- Following the event, the Education Provider sends the attendance records back to MSA in an Excel or .csv format. PDF or handwritten reports are not able to be processed. MSA submits the attendance to ISA on behalf of the Provider.
- To ensure timely processing, attendance records should be sent to MSA within 30 days of the program end date.
