Earn your ISA Credentials

Looking to become an ISA Certified Arborist, a Certified Tree Climber, or earn another ISA Credential? Visit the International Society of Arboriculture website to learn more about the types of credentials, eligibility requirements, how to apply, and more.

If you meet the pre-requisites listed in the application guide of the credential you are pursuing, you will submit the application to sit for the exam. ISA notifies you if your application is accepted via email, typically within a few days.  For any eligibility questions, please call ISA directly at (678) 367-0981. 

There are two options available for taking ISA exams: Paper-Based (see upcoming local options below), OR computer-based administered at a Pearson VUE testing facility.

*The below exam listings are for informational purposes only.* In order to sit for an exam, you must first have an approved application with ISA. Once approved, applicants are able to view, search, and enroll for available examination events through ISA’s credentialing management system.
